When your Al-Muhammadiyah villa needs an extra pair of hands, Gulf Al-Arab Company sends hourly maids in Al-Muhammadiyah, Jeddah for a fixed number of hours. Four hours with one maid starts from SAR 138, and bigger villas can take 6 or 8 hours or two maids side by side. Transport both ways is on us. To book, call or WhatsApp 0561940026.
Before you book in Al-Muhammadiyah
- Mid-size villa: six hours with one maid, from SAR 204
- Large villa or pre-event: eight hours, from SAR 274
- Faster finish: two maids for four hours, from SAR 296
- Twice a week: eight visits a month, from SAR 885
- Flat in the district: four hours from SAR 138 is usually plenty
- To confirm: WhatsApp or call 0561940026; morning or evening slots
For newcomers: the terms “hourly maid” and “part-time maid” here describe a housekeeper you hire for a block of hours. She cleans, then leaves with our driver; she is not a live-in worker and you take on no sponsorship.
Hourly maid prices in Al-Muhammadiyah for villas and flats
Prices in Al-Muhammadiyah start from SAR 138 for four hours, and a long villa visit of eight hours starts from SAR 274. Villas make up most of our bookings in this district, so the table runs from the longest options down:
| Visit type | Details | From (SAR) |
|---|---|---|
| Eight hours, one maid | Two-floor villa with annex, or getting ready for guests | 274 |
| Two maids together, four hours | The villa split between two maids, done in half the time | 296 |
| Six hours, one maid | Mid-size villa, or a full floor plus the laundry room | 204 |
| Four hours, one maid | A family flat in one of the district’s buildings | 138 |
| Hour added on the day | When a last-minute job needs more time | 52 |
| Eight visits a month | Two visits a week, four hours each | 885 |
The total moves with villa size, the number of maids, the hours and the slot you pick. Any evening, Friday or public-holiday charge is spelled out in our confirmation message before the visit. For anything unusual, three maids ahead of a large party for instance, ask about its price on WhatsApp and we will cost it hour by hour.
Al-Muhammadiyah: spacious villas and flats close to everything
Al-Muhammadiyah is one of north Jeddah’s upmarket residential districts. Ash-Shati sits between it and the sea, with King Abdulaziz Road running along the edge. Its neighbours are Al-Murjan, An-Nahdah and An-Naeem, with An-Nuzhah close by, and it is served by Madinah Road, Al-Salam Street and Prince Sultan Road. Inside the district you find well-known shopping centres such as Aya Mall, Jarir Mall and Sultan Square, plenty of hospitals and clinics, and green spaces like Al-Muhammadiyah Park.
Villas are the most sought-after homes here, many of them modern designs: a double-height entrance hall, an internal staircase with a glass balustrade, marble floors, and separate men’s and women’s majlis. Alongside them are buildings with studios up to three-bedroom flats. That range means visit lengths vary hugely; what clears a flat on Al-Salam Street does not cover a quarter of a two-floor villa.
Because the district’s shops and malls get busy in the evenings, we suggest morning slots for big villas where possible. The maid arrives through quieter streets and her hours start straight away.
Two maids for four hours, or one maid for eight?
It depends on whether time or cost matters more to you. Two maids for four hours get a villa done in half a day, ideal when guests are due that evening or you prefer the house back to yourselves quickly. One maid for eight hours starts from SAR 274 against SAR 296 for the pair, and suits families who are not in a rush and like one familiar face who learns the house.
The split we suggest to Al-Muhammadiyah families works floor by floor, so you know in advance what gets done where:
| Part of the villa | Jobs | Who handles it |
|---|---|---|
| Ground floor | Entrance hall, majlis, living room, kitchen and guest WC | Maid one, or the first four hours of a long visit |
| Staircase and balustrade | Glass polished, steps wiped, handrails and handles cleaned | Maid one, after the ground floor |
| Upper floor | Bedrooms, bathrooms and bed linen | Maid two, or the final hours |
| Laundry room | Washing, hanging, folding and ironing | Maid two, between other jobs |
When do you need three maids?
Before a big occasion in a three-floor villa, or after renovation work has left dust in every room. Ask for the price of that setup on WhatsApp, since it is calculated by the hour.
Tell us how many floors and rooms your Al-Muhammadiyah villa has and we will say whether one maid will do or two.

Glass balustrades and marble floors show fingerprints and dust more than anything else in Al-Muhammadiyah villas, so they get a fixed slot in every visit. The maid wipes the balustrade glass on both sides with a clean, dry microfibre cloth so no streaks remain, works down the steps from top to bottom, and cleans the handles and switches that hands touch all day.

For chandeliers hanging from high ceilings, the maid dusts only the lower parts she can reach safely from a short household ladder; work at real heights is outside the service. Marble is mopped with water and a cleaner suited to natural stone, and it helps to tell us what kind of marble you have if it reacts to acids.
Careful with marble
Acidic cleaners and vinegar leave dull patches on natural marble. If you have a dedicated marble product, leave it out for the maid before she arrives.
The villa laundry room: sort, wash, fold
Laundry piles up fast in a big villa, so the maid starts it at the beginning of the visit; the washer and dryer run while she cleans the rest of the house. Whites and colours go into separate baskets, care labels on delicate items are checked, and everything dry is folded and put away in each room’s wardrobe.

Thobes and shemaghs
Pressed carefully and hung in the right wardrobe.
Towels and bed linen
Washed at the right temperature and folded to match.
Children’s clothes
Sorted by bedroom so they are easy to put away.
Delicates
Set aside if the label is unclear, and she checks with you.
Getting the majlis ready, serving guests, tidying after
Yes, the maid can prepare the majlis before guests arrive, serve during the gathering and clean up afterwards. In Al-Muhammadiyah, where large majlis rooms are common, we suggest a 6-hour visit starting two hours before guests come: rugs vacuumed, tables wiped, coffee, tea and dates set out, then serving during the visit, and washing up and putting the room back in order once everyone has left.
Cooking itself is not part of the visit, but she will help plate and serve food from your kitchen or a caterer. If the men’s and women’s majlis are in use at the same time, two maids are the better choice so nobody waits.
What the maid will not do in Al-Muhammadiyah villas
Four things stay outside every visit: full cooking, sole care of children or elderly relatives, hazardous jobs, and heavy furniture. It is worth spelling this out for large villas, because some requests sound simple but are risky:
- Outside facade glass and upper windows from the outside.
- Climbing up to chandeliers in double-height ceilings.
- Shifting large sofas or heavy wardrobes.
- Cleaning the swimming pool or water tanks.
- Being left alone with children or an elderly person who needs care.
Everything else in normal housework is covered: sweeping and mopping, kitchen and dishes, bathrooms, washing, ironing and folding, inside window glass, vacuuming the majlis and rugs, Ramadan and Eid preparation, and the empty-house clean when you move in or out. The maid carries basic cleaning tools; products are agreed when you book.
Two visits a week: the plan that suits Al-Muhammadiyah villas
A villa cleaned once a week slides back into mess before the next visit, which is why many Al-Muhammadiyah families choose the 8-visit monthly package, which works out as a pair of four-hour visits every week and starts from SAR 885. The first visit can cover the ground floor and kitchen and the second the bedrooms and laundry, so the house stays in shape all week.
For an even steadier routine there is the 12-visit plan, three visits a week, from SAR 1,325. Each plan is still built on hours: she comes, works and goes, so there is no room to furnish and no residency paperwork.
Fix your days
Pick two days spaced apart, Sunday and Wednesday for example, and request her by name if you were happy with her. She learns how your house runs and gets faster each time, subject to availability.
Ramadan and Eid in Al-Muhammadiyah villas: a suggested plan
The easiest way to get a large villa ready for Ramadan or Eid is to split the work across two visits rather than one crowded day. In the week before Ramadan, the first visit takes the kitchen: shelves emptied and wiped, the fridge cleaned outside, and the big serving dishes that only come out this season washed. The second visit covers the majlis rooms, rugs, reachable curtains and the guest rooms.
Before Eid the order changes: majlis and entrance first, since visitors see them first, then bathrooms and bedrooms, and if you like, sweets trays and coffee set out on Eid morning. Demand in Al-Muhammadiyah climbs sharply in the last ten nights of Ramadan, so book at least a week ahead, especially if you need two maids on the same day. Shift times move during the fasting month, and we send the exact available slot when you book.
Back from summer: reopening the villa after travel
A Jeddah villa shut up for weeks needs a long visit on your return, because humidity and dust get in even with windows closed. We suggest eight hours with one maid or two maids for four: surfaces and furniture dusted, every floor mopped, bathrooms with standing water cleaned, rooms aired, and linen and towels from the cupboards washed. If you are still away, book for your arrival day, or the day before if a family member can let the maid in.
Legally employed maids only: what the rules say to households
Every maid we send to Al-Muhammadiyah is registered properly with a current iqama, trained, and wears a modest work uniform. That protects you before it protects her. The Domestic Workers Regulation forbids a sponsor from letting their housemaid work for other families; the penalty is a fine capped at SAR 20,000 or a halt on recruitment for up to three years, as published in Umm Al-Qura.
And anyone who takes in a worker violating residency and labour rules, or one who has run away from her sponsor, risks a jail term as long as six months together with fines of up to SAR 100,000 per violator, according to warnings from Jawazat. Our team includes Kenyan, Ugandan and Bangladeshi maids; who is available shifts from day to day and we confirm it when you book.
Gate, guard and driver: how the maid reaches your villa
The maid comes in a company car straight to your villa door, so there is nothing to arrange on your side. Villas in Al-Muhammadiyah often have more than one entrance, though, and some sit in small compounds with a guard on the gate. Before the visit, please send an exact map pin, the entrance she should use, and the name of whoever will let her in if it is not you. If you have a driver or guard, give them the company name and arrival time, since minutes lost at the gate come out of your working time. Lock away jewellery, cash and important papers before any visit, as you would with anyone entering the house.
Booking an hourly maid for your Al-Muhammadiyah villa
We need only a few details to send the right number of maids:
- 1Describe the villa: floors, bedrooms, bathrooms, and whether there is an annex or separate laundry room.
- 2Say what it is for: weekly cleaning, guests coming, or a clean after travel.
- 3Choose the setup: one maid for longer, or two maids for a shorter visit.
- 4Share the location and gate: a map pin and the entrance the maid should use.
- 5Get our confirmation: a message with the time and price before the visit.
It is best if a lady of the family is around while she works; her hours begin as she steps through the door. If your plans change, message us on WhatsApp in good time and we will rearrange.
